Ingredients:

2 plaice fillets (150g each)
2 tablespoons plain flour
1 teaspoon paprika powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil For the Tartar Sauce:
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons capers
1 tablespoon chopped dill pickles
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Juice of half a lemon

Cooking Instructions:

In a shallow bowl mix together the flour, paprika powder, garlic powder and salt and pepper.
Dip the plaice fillets in the flour mixture until they are evenly coated.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the plaice fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Meanwhile make the tartar sauce by combining all of the ingredients in a small bowl and stirring until combined.
Serve the fried plaice with tartar sauce on the side.
