Ingredients:

200g white fish fillet, cut into cubes
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons tamarind paste
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cups water
½ cup pineapple chunks
½ cup tomato chunks
½ cup okra slices

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
Add the fish cubes to the pot and cook until lightly browned.
Add the fish sauce, tamarind paste, sugar, salt and water to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the pineapple chunks, tomato chunks and okra slices to the pot and simmer for an additional 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles if desired.
