1/2 cup tapioca starch
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup warm water

Cooking Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix together the glutinous rice flour, tapioca starch, salt, vegetable oil and sugar until combined.
Slowly add the warm water to the mixture and stir until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it is smooth and pliable.
Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
Flatten each ball into a disc shape about 3 inches in diameter.
Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each disc and fold it over to form a half-moon shape. Pinch the edges together to seal in the filling.
Place the dumplings on a steamer lined with parchment paper or banana leaves and steam for about 20 minutes or until cooked through.
