Ingredients:

150g plain flour
75g caster sugar
100g butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon salt

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 160°C/320°F/Gas Mark
Grease a baking tray with butter.
In a bowl, mix together the flour and sugar until combined.
Add the softened butter and salt and mix until it forms a dough.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1cm thick and cut into desired shapes using a cookie cutter or knife.
Place the shortbread onto the greased baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow to cool before serving.
