Ingredients:

2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
1 teaspoon of ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (or more to taste)
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the cumin, coriander, smoked paprika and cayenne pepper and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the tomato paste and lemon juice and stir until combined. Simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and let cool before serving or storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
