Ingredients:

250g ground beef
1 egg
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
400g canned crushed tomatoes
250g dried pasta of your choice

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat your smoker to 225°F. In a bowl mix together the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder and smoked paprika until well combined. Form into small meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in the smoker and cook for 30 minutes or until cooked through.
Meanwhile heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for 5 minutes or until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened slightly then add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and stir to combine.
Cook the pasta according to package instructions then drain and add to the skillet with the sauce and meatballs stirring to combine everything together. Serve hot with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
