Ingredients:

1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 onion, sliced into thin strips
1/2 bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
2 ounces steak, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 slices provolone cheese
1 hoagie roll, split in half lengthwise and lightly toasted

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and peppers and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the steak to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the steak is cooked through, about 5 minutes more.
Place the provolone cheese slices on top of the steak mixture in the skillet. Cover with a lid or foil and cook until the cheese is melted, about 2 minutes more.
Place the steak mixture onto one half of the toasted hoagie roll. Top with the other half of the roll and serve immediately.
