Ingredients:

2 slices of white bread
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
2 tablespoons of jelly or jam of your choice
1 egg
2 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of sugar or honey (optional)
Pinch of salt (optional)
Butter for greasing the pan (optional)

Cooking Instructions:

In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, sugar or honey (if using), and salt (if using). Set aside.
Spread one slice of bread with peanut butter and the other slice with jelly or jam. Place them together to make a sandwich.
Dip the sandwich into the egg mixture until it is completely coated on both sides.
Heat a greased skillet over medium heat and add the sandwich to the pan. Cook for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm with additional jelly or jam if desired. Enjoy!
