Ingredients:

30g whole wheat flour
15ml warm water
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 teaspoon honey or sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt

Cooking Instructions:

In a small bowl, combine the warm water, yeast and honey or sugar. Stir until the yeast is dissolved and let sit for 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour and salt.
Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture and stir until combined. Knead for 5 minutes until it forms a soft dough.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap or a damp cloth. Let rise in a warm place for about an hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet with oil or butter and set aside.
Punch down the dough and shape into one roll on the prepared baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap or damp cloth and let rise for another 30 minutes or until doubled in size again.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top and cooked through in the center of the roll when tested with a toothpick inserted into it comes out cleanly when removed from oven . Let cool before serving .
