Ingredients:

30g whole wheat flour
15g rolled oats
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1/2 ripe banana, mashed
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
2 tablespoons vegetable oil or melted butter
2 tablespoons milk or non dairy milk of choice

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a small loaf pan with butter or oil.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a separate bowl, mash the banana until smooth.
Add the honey or maple syrup, oil or melted butter and milk to the mashed banana and mix until combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool before slicing.
