Ingredients:

1/2 cup uncooked grits
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 ounces cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Cooking Instructions:

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the grits, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder and oregano leaves. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes or until the grits are tender.
Add the butter or margarine and Parmesan cheese to the grits and stir until melted. Add the cooked shrimp and parsley and stir until combined. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until heated through.
