Ingredients:

1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
1/4 teaspoon oregano powder
2 tablespoons tomato paste
200 grams ground beef
100 ml beef stock
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the chili powder, cumin powder, smoked paprika powder and oregano powder to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
Add the tomato paste to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Break up any large chunks with a wooden spoon as it cooks.
Pour in the beef stock and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Simmer for 20 minutes or until thickened slightly. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed with salt or pepper as desired.
Serve hot with chopped fresh parsley leaves on top as garnish if desired! Enjoy!
