Ingredients:

2 tablespoons of warm water (37°C)
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of active dry yeast
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 cup of all
purpose flour (125g)
½ teaspoon of salt

Cooking Instructions:

In a small bowl, mix together the warm water, sugar and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy.
In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and stir until it forms a dough.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap. Let it rise in a warm place for 15 minutes or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark
Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and shape into an oval shape about 15cm long and 7cm wide. Place on an oiled baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
