Ingredients:

150g firm tofu, cubed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
2 tablespoons doubanjiang (spicy bean paste)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder
2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 4 tablespoons water
2 green onions, chopped

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
Add the doubanjiang and stir-fry for another 30 seconds.
Add the tofu cubes and stir-fry for 3 minutes until lightly browned.
Add the soy sauce, sugar, white pepper powder and cornstarch mixture to the wok or skillet. Stir-fry for another 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Add the green onions and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles. Enjoy!
