Ingredients:

1 boneless, skinless chicken breast (150g)
2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
1 teaspoon garlic powder (5ml)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (5ml)
Salt and pepper to taste (2ml each)
½ cup tomato sauce (125ml)
½ cup chicken broth (125ml)

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C.
Place the chicken breast in a baking dish and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken and bake for 15 minutes.
In a small saucepan, combine the tomato sauce and chicken broth over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Remove the chicken from the oven and pour the red sauce over it. Return to oven for an additional 5 minutes or until cooked through.
