Ingredients:

1 boneless skinless chicken breast (150g)
2 tablespoons of olive oil (30ml)
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder (1.25ml)
1/4 teaspoon of onion powder (1.25ml)
1/4 teaspoon of paprika (1.25ml)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of all
purpose flour (30ml)
2 cups of chicken broth or stock (500ml)

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C.
Rub the chicken breast with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
Place the chicken breast on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the flour and stir for about 1 minute until lightly browned.
Slowly add the chicken broth while whisking continuously until there are no lumps left in the mixture. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened slightly.
Slice the cooked chicken breast into strips then add it to the gravy mixture and simmer for 5 more minutes or until heated through. Serve immediately over mashed potatoes or rice if desired!
