Ingredients:

50g Cavatappi pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons all
purpose flour
1 cup vegetable broth or stock
½ cup heavy cream or half and half cream
100g Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the cavatappi pasta and cook according to package instructions. Drain the cooked pasta and set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the flour and cook for another minute until lightly golden brown.
Gradually whisk in the vegetable broth or stock until smooth. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes until thickened slightly.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream or half and half cream until combined. Simmer for another 5 minutes until thickened slightly again.

Add the cooked cavatappi pasta into the skillet with sauce and toss together until evenly coated with sauce. Serve immediately while hot!
