Ingredients:

150g ground beef
1/2 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup canned diced tomatoes
2 cups cooked pasta of your choice
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
Add the onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes (if using), tomato paste, diced tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes or until sauce has thickened slightly.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until heated through. Serve immediately.
