Ingredients:

100g lean ground beef
1/2 cup uncooked white rice
1/4 cup diced onion
1/4 cup diced bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are softened.
Add the uncooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the beef mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the rice is lightly toasted.
Add 1 cup of water to the skillet and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low, cover skillet with a lid and simmer for 15-20 minutes until all of the liquid has been absorbed by the rice.
