Ingredients:

200g spaghetti noodles
250g ground turkey
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cooking Instructions:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the spaghetti noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Add the onion and garlic and cook for another 3 minutes until softened.
Add the oregano, basil, red pepper flakes (if using), tomato paste, chicken broth and Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir to combine. Simmer for 20 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Add the cooked spaghetti noodles to the skillet with the sauce and stir to combine. Simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
