Ingredients:

200g spaghetti noodles
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
200g lean ground beef or turkey
1 can (400ml) crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil

Cooking Instructions:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the spaghetti noodles. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the onion and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the ground beef or turkey and cook until browned.
Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano and basil to the skillet and stir to combine. Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened slightly.
Add the cooked spaghetti noodles to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes until heated through. Serve immediately with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
