Ingredients:

200g fettuccine pasta
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
200g mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 tablespoons tomato paste
½ cup vegetable broth or water
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes more.
Add the oregano, basil, tomato paste, vegetable broth or water, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce. Serve hot!
