Ingredients:

1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1/4 cup coconut milk (or other non
dairy milk)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the peas and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the peas are tender.
Add the coconut milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to the saucepan and stir to combine. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and use an immersion blender or regular blender to blend until smooth. Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as fresh herbs or croutons.
