Ingredients:

150g lean beef mince
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
100g mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
2 tablespoons tomato paste
½ cup beef stock or water
2 tablespoons plain flour
½ cup frozen peas
1 sheet ready
made puff pastry

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Grease a 20cm pie dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add the mince and cook for 5 minutes until browned. Add the onion and garlic and cook for another 3 minutes until softened.
Add the mushrooms, thyme, oregano and tomato paste and cook for another 3 minutes until mushrooms are softened.
Add the beef stock or water and bring to a simmer then add the flour and stir until combined. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened then remove from heat and stir in peas.
Pour mixture into prepared pie dish then top with puff pastry sheet, tucking in edges around sides of dish if needed. Cut several slits in top of pastry to allow steam to escape during baking then bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown on top.
Serve hot with your favorite side dishes such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables. Enjoy!
