100g plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
50g butter, melted and cooled slightly
2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
50g dark chocolate chips or chunks

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, honey or agave syrup and vanilla extract until combined.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix!
Fold in the chocolate chips or chunks until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Using a tablespoon measure, scoop out dough and roll into balls before placing on prepared baking tray about 5cm apart from each other. Flatten slightly with your fingers if desired.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown around the edges but still soft in the middle when lightly pressed with your finger tip (cooking time may vary depending on oven). Allow to cool on tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
