Ingredients:

300g firm tofu
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon mirin (sweet rice wine)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil

Cooking Instructions:

Drain the tofu and cut into cubes.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, sugar and sesame oil. Pour this mixture over the tofu cubes and stir to coat evenly.
Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce has thickened and coated the tofu cubes evenly.
Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles as desired.
