Ingredients:

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of fresh ginger, grated
1/2 cup of chicken broth or vegetable broth
2 tablespoons of miso paste
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon of white sugar or honey
2 ounces of ramen noodles (or other thin noodles)
1/2 cup of frozen vegetables (such as peas and carrots)
2 tablespoons of green onions, chopped
1/4 cup of cooked chicken or pork (optional)
Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for about one minute until fragrant.
Add the broth, miso paste, soy sauce and sugar to the pot and stir to combine. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the ramen noodles to the pot and cook for 5 minutes until tender. Add the frozen vegetables and cook for an additional 3 minutes until heated through.
Stir in the cooked chicken or pork if desired. Serve hot with green onions and sesame seeds as garnish if desired. Enjoy!
