Ingredients:

2 slices of Italian bread
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup of sliced salami or pepperoni
1/4 cup of sliced ham or prosciutto ham
1/4 cup of sliced roasted red peppers or sun
dried tomatoes
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil leaves

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the two slices of bread on a baking sheet and brush each side with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes until lightly toasted.
Remove from the oven and brush each side with balsamic vinegar. Top each slice with mozzarella cheese, salami or pepperoni, ham or prosciutto ham, roasted red peppers or sun-dried tomatoes and chopped fresh basil leaves.
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve warm and enjoy!
