Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons water
4 ounces ground beef or lamb
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the cumin, coriander, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using) to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for another minute or two until fragrant.
Add the tomato paste and water to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for another minute or two until thickened.
Add the ground beef or lamb to the skillet and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to break up any large pieces of meat.
Serve hot with your favorite sides such as rice or pita bread! Enjoy!
