Ingredients:

1 cup cooked chickpeas (chana)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
¼ teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
2 tablespoons tomato paste or puree
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Salt to taste
1 naan bread

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and red chili powder (if using). Stir to combine and cook for another minute.
Add the tomato paste or puree and stir to combine. Cook for another minute until everything is well combined and fragrant.
Add the cooked chickpeas and stir to combine everything together. Cook for about 5 minutes until everything is heated through and combined together nicely.
Add salt to taste and stir to combine everything together again. Cook for another minute or two until everything is heated through again.
Turn off the heat and add the chopped fresh cilantro leaves and stir to combine everything together one last time before serving with naan bread on the side.
