Ingredients:

200g paneer (cubed)
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
2 tablespoons tomato puree or paste
2 tablespoons cream or yogurt (optional)
Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
Add the cubed paneer and fry until lightly golden brown.
Add the coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and red chili powder (if using). Fry for another minute or two until fragrant.
Add the tomato puree or paste and stir to combine everything together. Cook for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
Add cream or yogurt (if using) and stir to combine everything together again. Cook for another 5 minutes until the mixture thickens further and becomes creamy in texture.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed before serving hot with rice or naan breads!
