Ingredients:

2 potatoes (boiled and mashed)
1 onion (finely chopped)
2 green chillies (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons oil for shallow frying For the Yogurt Sauce:
½ cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon cumin powder
Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:

In a bowl mix together the mashed potatoes, onion, green chillies, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix well until everything is combined.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape each part into a patty or tikki.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides. Remove from heat and keep aside.
For the yogurt sauce, mix together the yogurt, cumin powder and salt in a bowl until combined. Set aside.
Serve the aloo tikkis hot with the yogurt sauce on top or on the side as desired.
