Ingredients:

2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
½ teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves (cilantro)
Salt to taste For the Green Chutney:
½ cup fresh coriander leaves (cilantro)
2 green chilies
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder (optional), chopped fresh coriander leaves and salt to taste. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape each part into a patty or tikki.
Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides. Remove from heat and set aside.
To make the green chutney, combine all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add some water if needed to get a thick but pourable consistency.
Serve the aloo tikkis hot with green chutney on top or on the side as desired. Enjoy!
