Ingredients:

150ml warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
300g all
purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil

Cooking Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar and yeast. Stir until the yeast is dissolved and let it sit for 5 minutes until it starts to foam.
Add the flour, salt and olive oil to the bowl and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil or butter.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each piece into an oval roll shape by rolling them between your hands on a lightly floured surface. Place them on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart from each other.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top and bottom of rolls are cooked through when tapped on bottom of roll with your finger tip . Remove from oven and let cool before serving .
