Ingredients:

200g octopus tentacles, cleaned and cut into small pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 slices of whole wheat bread or ciabatta bread, toasted
2 tablespoons mayonnaise or vegan mayonnaise
1/2 cup lettuce leaves, shredded
1/4 cup tomatoes, diced

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat the grill to medium heat.
In a bowl, combine the octopus pieces with the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Mix until all the pieces are evenly coated.
Place the octopus pieces on the preheated grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and lightly charred.
To assemble the sandwich, spread one slice of bread with mayonnaise or vegan mayonnaise and top with lettuce leaves, tomatoes and grilled octopus pieces. Top with the other slice of bread and enjoy!
