Ingredients:

1 ciabatta roll
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 chicken breast fillet, sliced into thin strips
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tomatoes, sliced into thin rounds
2 tablespoons of pesto sauce

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the ciabatta roll on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden brown.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and cook for 5 minutes until golden brown. Add the garlic, oregano, salt and pepper to taste and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
Place the tomato slices on top of the chicken in the skillet and cook for 3 minutes until softened. Remove from heat and set aside.
Spread the pesto sauce on one side of the ciabatta roll and top with the chicken mixture. Place in oven for 5 minutes until heated through. Serve warm.
