Ingredients:

2 slices of sourdough bread
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 cup leeks, thinly sliced and sautéed in butter until soft
1/4 cup Gruyere cheese, grated

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
Spread the softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
Place the slices of bread butter-side down onto the preheated skillet.
Top one slice of bread with the sautéed leeks and grated Gruyere cheese.
Place the other slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Flip the sandwich over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted through.
Remove from heat and serve warm.
