Ingredients:

2 cups of gluten free whole grain flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine
1/2 cup of sugar or honey
1/2 cup of milk or non
dairy milk alternative

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with butter or margarine.
In a medium bowl, mix together the gluten free whole grain flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter or margarine and sugar or honey until combined. Add in the milk and mix until combined.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly with a spatula. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving warm with your favorite toppings such as cinnamon sugar, icing sugar or fresh fruit! Enjoy!
