Ingredients:

1/2 cup gluten
free all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar or honey
2 tablespoons vegetable oil or melted butter
1 large egg, lightly beaten
3/4 cup milk or dairy free milk alternative

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat your waffle iron to medium heat.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar or honey.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the oil or melted butter, egg and milk or dairy free milk alternative until combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Grease your waffle iron with cooking spray or butter and pour in enough batter to cover the surface of the waffle iron (about 1/3 cup). Close the lid and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown and crisp on both sides. Repeat with remaining batter.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruit or whipped cream! Enjoy!
