Ingredients:

1 cup of masa harina (corn flour)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3/4 cup of warm water

Cooking Instructions:

In a medium bowl, mix together the masa harina and salt.
Slowly add the warm water to the mixture and stir until it forms a dough.
Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it is smooth and pliable.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
Place each ball between two sheets of parchment paper or plastic wrap and use a rolling pin to flatten them into thin circles about 6 inches in diameter.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes until it is hot but not smoking.
Place one tortilla in the skillet and cook for about 1 minute on each side until lightly browned and slightly crisp on the edges.
Repeat with remaining tortillas, stacking them on top of each other as you go to keep them warm while you cook the rest of them.
