Ingredients:

2 cups of chicken broth
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of sesame oil
2 tablespoons of miso paste
2 tablespoons of sake or mirin (optional)
1 teaspoon of garlic powder or minced garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of white onion, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
2 packages of ramen noodles
4 slices of pork belly or bacon, cut into small pieces

Cooking Instructions:

In a large pot over medium heat, add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, miso paste, sake or mirin (if using), garlic powder or minced garlic cloves, white onion and ground ginger. Stir to combine and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the ramen noodles and pork belly or bacon pieces to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the noodles are cooked through.
Serve hot with your favorite toppings such as green onions, boiled eggs and nori seaweed strips. Enjoy!
