Ingredients:

200g lean beef steak, thinly sliced
1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)

Cooking Instructions:

Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until lightly browned on both sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Add the broccoli to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned. Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Return the beef to the pan along with the soy sauce and sesame oil (if using). Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until everything is cooked through.
If desired, mix together the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to make a slurry and add it to the pan to thicken the sauce. Cook for an additional minute until thickened.
