Ingredients:

120ml warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
250g all
purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil

Cooking Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the warm water, sugar and yeast. Stir until the yeast is dissolved and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour and salt. Add the olive oil and the yeast mixture to the flour mixture and stir until combined.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let it rise for about an hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8-inch round baking pan with butter or oil. Punch down the dough and shape into an 8-inch round loaf before placing it in the pan. Let it rise again for 30 minutes before baking for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
