Ingredients:

1 cup of rolled oats
1 cup of all
purpose flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup (optional)
2 tablespoons of melted butter or coconut oil (optional)
1 cup of milk or non
dairy milk alternative

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan with butter or oil.
In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt until combined.
In a separate bowl, mix together the honey or maple syrup (if using), melted butter or coconut oil (if using), and milk until combined.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix!
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly with a spatula. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
