Ingredients:

2 large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1/2 cup all
purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup cold water
Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking Instructions:

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt. Whisk together until combined.
Slowly add the cold water to the dry ingredients while whisking until a smooth batter forms.
Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Dip each shrimp into the batter and carefully place into the hot oil. Fry for about 3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
