Ingredients:

100g glutinous rice flour
50g sugar
100ml water
1 teaspoon cornstarch (for dusting)

Cooking Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together the glutinous rice flour and sugar.
Slowly add the water to the mixture while stirring until it forms a thick paste.
Dust a flat surface with cornstarch and transfer the paste onto it. Knead the paste until it is smooth and pliable.
Divide the dough into small balls about 2 cm in diameter and flatten them slightly with your hands.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and place the mochi pieces on it one by one. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown in color.
Serve warm or at room temperature with your favorite toppings such as ice cream or red bean paste!
