This delicious Meatball Sub Pizza is an easy-to-follow recipe that will be sure to please everyone! It’s packed with flavor from the onions, garlic powder, oregano and red pepper flakes (optional). The cooked meatballs are added on top of marinara sauce before being topped off with mozzarella and provolone cheeses as well as Parmesan cheese for extra flavor! Bake it in your preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly around edges of dish then let cool for 5 minutes before serving – enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup cooked meatballs, diced into small pieces
2 cups marinara sauce
4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 ounces provolone cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9-inch round baking dish with olive oil.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened and lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic powder, oregano and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook for another minute. Add the diced meatballs and cook for another 3 minutes until heated through.
Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Top with the cooked meatball mixture and spread evenly over the sauce. Sprinkle both cheeses over top of the meatballs. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top of everything else.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly around edges of dish. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
