Ingredients:

200g all
purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
150ml warm water
100g mozzarella cheese, grated
100g cooked ham, diced
2 tablespoons tomato sauce

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add the olive oil and warm water and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
Divide the dough into two equal pieces and roll each piece out into a circle about 20cm in diameter.
Place one of the circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread half of the tomato sauce over it, leaving a 2cm border around the edge. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese and ham over the tomato sauce.
Place the other circle of dough on top of the filling and press down around the edges to seal it shut. Cut several slits in the top of the calzone to allow steam to escape while cooking.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with extra tomato sauce if desired.
