Ingredients:

2 slices of white bread
2 slices of ham
2 slices of Swiss cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the butter or margarine and let it melt.
Place the two slices of bread on the skillet and top each slice with one slice of ham and one slice of cheese.
Pour the beaten egg over the sandwiches and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for about 3 minutes until the egg is cooked through and the cheese has melted. Flip the sandwiches over and cook for an additional 2 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
