Ingredients:

200g lean beef steak, thinly sliced
1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
2 tablespoons water or vegetable broth
1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)

Cooking Instructions:

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and cook for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Add the broccoli florets to the same skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned. Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Return the beef to the skillet along with the soy sauce, sesame oil (if using), water or vegetable broth, and cornstarch (if using). Stir everything together until combined.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly and the beef is cooked through. Serve immediately over cooked rice or noodles if desired.
